Uzbekistan has delivered another batch of humanitarian aid to the people of Iran, the press service of the Foreign Ministry said.

A convoy of 15 trucks transported the shipment, which consisted of essential medicines and medical supplies.

The cargo was officially handed over to the Iranian side during a ceremony at the Artyk–Lutfabad checkpoint on the Turkmen-Iranian border.

Reportedly, Iranian officials expressed their gratitude to the president and the people of Uzbekistan for providing timely, practical assistance during this challenging period, the ministry noted.

Previously in March, Uzbekistan dispatched a similar humanitarian aid package to Iran, which included food products alongside medicine and medical equipment.
