In the city of Chirchiq, an aggressive driver not only drove a GM Cobalt down a pedestrian sidewalk but also blocked the path of a mother and child who were walking there.
According to the Tashkent Province Road Safety Department, an administrative citation for "road disorderly conduct" was issued against the driver.
By a ruling of the Chirchiq City Criminal Court, the driver has been stripped of his driver's license for a period of one year and ordered to pay a fine of 10 times the Base reference value (BRV), totaling 4,120,000 soums.
