The Tashkent Traffic Management Center (TMMC) has announced a major crackdown on illegal parking and stopping violations across the capital.

According to the TMMC, vehicles are routinely found parked on sidewalks, near pedestrian crosswalks, at bus stops, in green zones, and in designated no-parking areas.

Center officials emphasized that such reckless parking directly compromises safety and obstructs pedestrian mobility. It poses a particular hazard to the elderly, parents with strollers, individuals with disabilities, and children. Furthermore, it impedes the smooth operation of public transit, emergency service vehicles, and overall traffic flow.

"Vehicles left in violation of stopping and parking regulations will be systematically towed and impounded at designated impound lots in accordance with established legal procedures," the TMMC warned.

The Center strongly urges all motorists to strictly adhere to traffic regulations and refrain from abandoning their vehicles in areas where they block traffic or create safety hazards.
