Plans are underway to enable instant cashback payouts for fiscal receipts in the food service, alcohol, tobacco, and fuel industries. This initiative was discussed during a meeting with the president on Tuesday.

The measure was proposed as transactions for various goods and services shift toward cashless methods, making it essential to ensure these payments are as seamless as possible for both individuals and businesses. As a reminder, since April 1, payments for vehicle fuel, electric vehicle charging, alcohol, and tobacco products must be made exclusively via non-cash methods.

Additionally, proposals were made to prevent the misuse of the reporting system regarding the non-issuance of receipts.

According to the Tax Committee, approximately 1.51 trillion soums in cashback were paid out to consumers in 2025—a nearly 50% increase compared to 2024.
