Unsettled weather will persist across the central and eastern areas of Uzbekistan through the afternoon of May 4, according to Uzhydromet. Residents in the Tashkent, Samarkand, Jizzakh, and Syrdarya provinces, as well as the Fergana Valley, should prepare for occasional short-term showers and thunderstorms later today.

Temperatures in these areas will hover between +23°C and +26°C. Meanwhile, the northern and southern reaches of the country, along with desert zones, will remain dry with highs reaching +27°C to +32°C.

In the capital, the outlook for the rest of the business week is clear, with no precipitation expected. After a mild +24°C to +26°C today, Tashkent will see a steady warm-up from May 5–8, with temperatures climbing to between +30°C and +35°C.

Winds will generally remain light, blowing from the east at 3–8 m/s. However, by May 8, gusts could strengthen to 10–12 m/s, potentially bringing localized dust storms to parts of the city.
