A criminal case has been opened following the death of a 39-year-old woman who passed away while receiving an intravenous drip at a family doctor's clinic in the Yangiqo'rg'on district of Namangan province.
The announcement was made by the provincial prosecutor's office.
"In connection with this incident, the Yangiqo'rg'on District Prosecutor's Office has opened a criminal case under Part 3 of Article 116 of the Criminal Code against G.E., a family nurse at the G'ovazon Family Outpatient Clinic, which operates under the Yangiqo'rg'on District Medical Association," the prosecutor's office stated.
Investigative proceedings are currently underway, led by the Yangiqo'rg'on District Prosecutor's Office. The case has been reportedly placed under the supervisory oversight of the provincial prosecutor's office.
The tragedy occurred on March 28th at the G'ovazon Family Doctor's Clinic, part of the Yangiqo'rg'on District Medical Association.
