As reported earlier, the Ministry of Justice has officially registered the Rules for Upkeep and Operation of Residential Apartment Buildings.

Under these rules, apartment management bodies are required to implement the following measures to enhance the quality of life for residents:

  • Install benches on the land plots adjacent to the buildings;
  • Place designated waste-sorting bins at appropriate distances for convenient disposal.

The grounds surrounding these buildings must include the following common-use areas:

  • Playgrounds for preschool and school-aged children;
  • Rest areas for adults and the elderly;
  • Facilities for physical exercise and fitness;
  • Designated spots for collecting household waste;
  • Areas for walking dogs and other pets;
  • Storage spaces for bicycles and other mobility devices (including scooters, wheelchairs, and strollers).

Furthermore, the adjacent land and infrastructure must be fully landscaped. This includes installing engineering and technical systems for watering trees, plants, walkways, and sidewalks, as well as maintaining a functional outdoor lighting system.
