President Shavkat Mirziyoyev inspected the new facilities at the IT Park in Fergana. The complex was developed following directives issued by the head of state during his August 2024 visit. Constructed with 150 billion soums from the state budget, the facility can accommodate up to 200 people at once. It is designed to train and engage over 3,000 young people annually in practical projects and professional IT services.
The center features a modern coworking environment for freelancers and developers, along with fully equipped offices for resident companies. By integrating education, production, and service delivery, the infrastructure aims to boost youth self-employment and provide a path to a stable income.
With the launch of this new hub, the goal is to increase the number of resident companies to 200, create 700 new jobs, and push annual export figures to $30 million.
Looking ahead, the complex is slated to become a hub for Artificial Intelligence and a center for digitalizing management systems. Future plans include modern courses in AI, programming, graphic design, computer literacy, and English. To support the startup ecosystem, venture capital financing, grants, and acceleration programs will also be introduced.
During his visit, president Mirziyoyev met with residents and young IT professionals, expressing his support for their latest ideas and initiatives.
