Samarkand's SOF EXPO venue will host the WORLD EDU 2026 international educational exhibition, one of the largest education events in Central Asia on April 10–11, 2026.
The exhibition will bring together leading universities, educational organizations, consulting companies, and training centers from Uzbekistan and more than 10 countries, including Europe, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Turkey, and elsewhere.
WORLD EDU 2026 will be a key platform for applicants, students, and their parents, providing access to up-to-date information on:
• admission to international and local universities,
• educational grants and scholarships,
• international exams (IELTS, SAT, GMAT),
• modern educational programs and career prospects.
Visitors will be able to directly interact with university representatives, receive individual consultations, and participate in presentations and career guidance sessions.
WORLD EDU is demonstrating steady growth and strengthening its position as the region's key educational event:
• 2024 – approximately 40+ educational institutions participating,
• 2025 – over 70 universities and organizations from various countries,
• over 4,000 visitors on the first day alone in 2025,
• approximately 4,000+ targeted visitors are expected in 2026.

The exhibition is taking place against the backdrop of large-scale reforms and rapid development of the education system in Uzbekistan:
• the number of universities has almost tripled, reaching 200+ institutions by 2025;
• the total number of students has reached 1.7 million;
• more than 381,700 students were admitted in the 2024/2025 academic year, 2.2 times more than in 2020;
• female participation is growing: 196,700 female students outnumber male students.
