Chief of the Presidential Administration Saida Mirziyoyeva met with the U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio in Washington, D.C., for a business breakfast Tuesday.
"During our conversation, we reviewed the outcomes of the American–Uzbek Business and Investment Council meeting and noted the steady expansion of our portfolio of economic projects. I would like to express my gratitude to the Secretary of State for his significant contribution to the further development of our strategic partnership," Mirziyoyeva stated regarding the meeting.
She also held talks with U.S. Special Envoy to South and Central Asia/Co-Chair of the Council Sergio Gor, to discuss the primary focus areas for trad cooperation between the two nations.
