The Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Istanbul has issued an urgent advisory, calling on Uzbek nationals residing in Turkey to adhere to several critical security measures.
“In your daily lives, please distance yourselves from suspicious situations that could jeopardize your health or safety. Avoid participating in public gatherings or demonstrations, and maintain heightened vigilance in crowded areas,” the Consulate stated.
Additionally, the Consulate warned against falling victim to fraudsters promising high-paying jobs, European or American visas, or the processing of residency documents for a fee. Travelers—especially women and those traveling alone—are also strongly advised to avoid using unlicensed taxi services.
