A horrific traffic accident has claimed multiple lives in the Forish district of the Jizzakh province. The tragedy occurred on April 4 at approximately 4:05 PM along the Jizzakh-Bogdon-Kizilcha highway.
A 27-year-old driver from the Khatirchi district of Navoi, identified as U.B., was traveling in a GM Nexia when he reportedly violated overtaking regulations. This maneuver led to a violent head-on collision with a GM Cobalt, driven by 35-year-old B.A., a resident of the Forish district.
The impact proved fatal for both drivers, as well as a 54-year-old Chinese national who was a passenger in the Nexia; all three perished at the scene. Two additional passengers from the Cobalt were rushed to the hospital, but despite medical efforts, they later succumbed to their injuries.
