Steps will be taken to gradually introduce artificial rain and artificial wind technologies in Uzbekistan. To achieve this, proven international practices will be studied.
Following a presidential decree aimed at improving air quality, the Ecology Committee, the Academy of Sciences, and the Ministry of Higher Education have been tasked with this mission.
The implementing of artificial rain technology was previously included in the 2026 State Program. According to that program, a pilot project is set to launch by March 1, 2026, featuring at least 3–5 practical tests. These efforts aim to increase precipitation by 10–20% compared to natural levels.
