President Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a telephone conversation with the Crown Prince and the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud Sunday.
At the beginning of the conversation, the two leaders once again warmly congratulated each other on the recent holiday of Ramadan (Eid al-Fitr).
They underscored their serious concern about the situation in the Middle East and the growing tensions in the region.
They emphasized that preventing further escalation and achieving a full resolution are in the interests not only of the countries in the region but also of global stability.
Reportedly, Shavkat Mirziyoyev stressed that during these challenging times, Uzbekistan stands in solidarity with the leadership and fraternal people of Saudi Arabia and expressed his full support for the Kingdom's balanced and wise policy course.
While, Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud highly valued the sincere goodwill and friendly support expressed by the President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. The parties decided to step up the high-level contacts and coordinated joint efforts to elevate bilateral and multilateral relations to a new level.
