The Ministry of Justice unveiled a bill proposing a tax for singers for every performance. Starting September 1, all performance services must be registered in the tax authorities' mobile app, where tax payments will be processed. Until January 1, 2029, a fixed tax will be collected on a One Service - One Fee basis.

The size will be determined based on performer’s assigned category and province. Even if services are provided free of charge, the tax must be paid, except for performance in official government’s events. From 2029, the tax will be calculated based on the contract price, but no lower than a set minimum level.

Failure to register services in the system and pay the tax shall be deemed concealment of income. In such cases, a fine of 20% of the average contract price shall apply, but not less than 20 BRV (Base reference value). Furthermore, individuals who report such violations may receive a reward equal to 20% of the fine imposed.
