Presidents Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan and Emomali Rahmon of Tajikistan attended the launch ceremony of 10 bilateral projects, the presidential press service said.
These projects are furniture and leather goods manufacturing units, expanding of a household appliance manufacturing facility, textile factories in Tajikistan, a residential complex and retail facilities in Tashkent, and canned goods manufacturing unit in Fergana province.
Furthermore, dairy production facilities were launched in Andijan province, and fruit juice and metal briquettes in Surkhandarya province.
The event also featured a ceremony to name a street in New Tashkent after Dushanbe.
