Sevdora Khakimjonova, a 22-year-old Uzbek woman who fell from the fourth floor of an apartment building in the Turkish city of Izmir, died in hospital. the Uzbek Consulate General of in Istanbul.

Reportedly, Sevdora Khakimjonova married a Turkish national in a religious marriage, but this marriage was not officially registered. Her husband, like her, is a person with hearing and speech impairments. Later, they lived in the same apartment with the groom's close relatives in Izmir.
Currently, Turkish law enforcement agencies have opened a criminal case and are conducting an investigation into the incident. The collected materials are being considered by the prosecutor's office in an appropriate manner.
