President Shavkat Mirziyoyev in a telephone conversation spoke to the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the presidential press service said.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev sincerely congratulated the President of Kazakhstan on the successful holding of the referendum on amending Kazakhstan’s Constitution.
Reportedly, the proposed amendments will provide a reliable legal basis and additional incentive for further ensuring Kazakhstan's sustainable development and strengthening the Kazakhstan's international authority.
The parties also discussed pressing aspects to enhance the Uzbek-Kazakh strategic partnership and alliance ties and focused on advancing bilateral projects in trade, economic, investment, transport, cultural, humanitarian, and other priority areas.
They exchanged views on current international and regional issues and discussed the schedule of upcoming bilateral and multilateral events.
The two leaders also exchanged sincere congratulations on the upcoming holidays of Ramadan and Navruz, wishing the fraternal peoples of the two countries peace, well-being, and continued prosperity.
