Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov in a telephone conversation spoke to his Iranian counterpart Seyyed Abbas Araqhchi and discussed the situation in the region and the latest events, the Minister Bakhtiyor Saidoм said on his Telegram channel:
“Had a telephone conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran H.E. Dr. Seyed Abbas Araghchi.”
“Extended condolences over the loss of civilian lives and conveyed our compassion to the families affected by the recent events.”
“Discussed with my colleague the evolving regional situation, noting that any further escalation could entail grave humanitarian and security consequences.”
“Reaffirmed our consistent and principled position that all differences and disputes must be resolved exclusively through peaceful means, dialogue and diplomacy”, he concluded.
