President Shavkat Mirziyoyev addressed the meeting with youth at Koksaroy residence. More than 60,000 young people from Karakalpakstan, provinces and Tashkent city are participating in the meeting.

"In over 22 million young people in our country, we see a huge economic, social and political force."

“Every minister, governor, mayor, university rector, technical school director, school principal and other officials should take greater responsibility to ensure that young people in their province learn languages ​​and professions, engage in sports, support their ideas, projects and startups, develop them, create jobs for them, and not leave any young person without attention.”

“As a result of created opportunities, in recent years, young people have won 66 gold, 147 silver and 221 bronze medals at the World Science Olympiads”.

“Over 500 of our young people are studying at the most prestigious universities in the world, such as Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Columbia, and Cornell, and more than 3,500 of our boys and girls are studying in the Top 100 universities.”

“63 startup projects created by our innovative youth have entered the markets of countries such as the USA, South Korea, Great Britain, and the United Arab Emirates.”

“Our young athletes have won 720 gold, 671 silver, and 854 bronze medals in international arenas. Today, young entrepreneurs make up 35 percent of business representatives in our country.”

"We are proud that Uzbekistan has been declared the fastest growing country in the Global Youth Development Index."

“This year, the headquarters of the World Youth Movement for Peace will be established in Tashkent, and Samarkand will host the 12th Global Conference of Youth Parliamentarians, the Take Off International Startup Summit, and the 46th World Chess Olympiad.”

“Of course, there will be changes in the activities of senior officials who are looking to improve the quality of education and make children masters of their profession, introducing new methods and innovations, and a new atmosphere will enter his work.”

“New threats aimed at changing the minds of young people are emerging every day in the world, officials at all levels need to switch to a new system of work with young people.”

“Youth Days will be held in ministries, departments, and mayor offices in the country every Thursday”.

“Mayors will implement youth-oriented trade and service projects, help young people get an education, play sports, learn a profession and language, get a job or engage in entrepreneurship, hold meetings with startups, and allocate special funds and grants.”

“Competitions and fairs on interesting topics will be held for the best gardeners, farmers, industrialists, startups, creative people, spiritualists, and other young people.”
