Women with 20 years of work experience may have their retirement age reduced by one year, the Ministry of Economy and Finance proposed in a draft posted for public input.
The ministry has proposed to switch a number of pension services to a non-applicable form starting June 1, 2026:
- assigning an old-age pension to women with 20 years of work experience, with a one-year reduction in the general retirement age;
- assigning an old-age pension two years before the established general retirement age to citizens dismissed due to staff reductions, changes in the nature of their work due to a reduction in workload, or the liquidation of a company and recognized as unemployed.
Starting January 1, 2027, the Pension Fund must also stop accepting documents and information from citizens in paper form. Discussion of the draft will last through February 26.
