An alien who fired from assault rifle on a field in Tashkent province has been detained, the provincial police department's press service reported.
The department promptly investigated the case and identified all the individuals shown in a video which went viral on social media. on January 20, 2026, a Ya.Yu. illegally gave his hunting weapon, for which had a permit, to his acquaintance K.H., a Chinese national for use in Tashkent province.
Reportedly, no people or animals were harmed during the use of the weapon.
Currently, violation documents have been drawn up in line with the Violation of the rules for the circulation of weapons and their ammunition charge, and the hunting weapon and ammunition have been temporarily seized.
The department added that a legal decision would be made based on the findings of the ongoing investigation and additional information will be provided.
