After several days of above-zero temperatures, Uzbekistan is expected to experience another cold snap in weather this week, although not as severe as last week, Uzhydromet said in a forecast.
Reportedly, on January 27-28, a moist and relatively cold air mass will come from Russia, with occasional precipitation (rain changing to snow).
On January 29-30, this air mass will shift eastward, with light snow possible in places across the central and eastern regions of the country.
Rain is possible on Tuesday evening in Tashkent, with occasional precipitation (rain changing to snow) expected on January 28-29. By January 29, temperatures will drop to -1 to -3 degrees Celsius at night and 0 to +2 degrees Celsius during the day. Fog is possible overnight and in mornings.
