Uzbekistan imported US$ 28.9 million worth of 12.2 thousand tons of fish and seafood from 31 foreign countries in January-October 2025, the National Statistics Committee said in a report.
The volume of imports of fish and sea food increased by 2.3 thousand tons, or 23.3%, compared to the same period in 2024.
The top countries that exported most fish and sea food to Uzbekistan in 10 months:
- Russia - 5.8 thousand tons;
- Vietnam - 3.3 thousand tons;
- Norway - 1 thousand tons;
- Lithuania - 705.6 tons;
- Kazakhstan - 657.1 tons;
- Great Britain - 140 tons;
- Faroe Islands - 138.3 tons;
- other countries - 379.2 tons.
