Owner of Finans Invest and blogger Sanjar Karimov, aka Real Sanjik, has been remanded in custody, announced Aziz Abidov, spokesman to the Supreme Court.
At a hearing today, the Mirabad District Criminal Court granted the request of the Tashkent City First Deputy Prosecutor to apply the preventive measure of "remand in custody." He has been placed in pretrial detention.

According to her, her fiancé, Shahzod Rismatov, convinced her parents, who are almost 70 years old, to temporarily "mortgage" their house for 12 days, after which the house was registered in a sale and purchase agreement and transferred to blogger Sanjar Karimov.
The woman claims the transaction was presented as a temporary deposit, and the family never received the money. Karimov himself claims he officially purchased the house for $240,000 with the voluntary consent of all family members. The criminal case against Rismatov on several counts of fraud was sent to court, where he was sentenced to nine years in prison on November 21.
Attorneys for the aggrieved Alibayev family requested a legal assessment of the actions of blogger Sanjar Karimov (Real Sanjik), who is mentioned in testimony in the Shahzod Rismatov case. The judge granted the motion and ordered that the prosecutor be notified.
