As part of the Tashkent public transport development program, 200 electric buses and charging equipment for them will be purchased before October.
The Chinese company Yutong has been awarded the contract to supply these purchases.
Under the contract, the delivering of vehicles and equipment has commenced. This contract is being financed with loans from China's Ehimbank and Uzsanoatqurilishbank.
The first batch of 100 electric buses has been sent from the Kazakh Khorgos dry port to Uzbekistan, whiel all of 200 buses expected to be received before October.
