During the meeting with the President Shavkat Mirziyoyev today, the U.S. President’s Envoy for South and Central Asia Sergio Gore conveyed a personal message from Donald Trump.

Sergio Gore said that the President Trump instructed him to in person attend the roundtable between the Uzbek leader and U.S. business leaders and reviewed the meeting's agenda. He underscored that the U.S. President "greatly enjoyed" the conversation with Mirziyoyev and conveyed his "sincere greetings."

"From now on, you have a direct line of communication with the White House office at any time. This means that all conditions have been created to enhance our relations... He awaits you in Washington. All matters of mutual interests will be resolved. We support all your decisions," Gore remarked.

The Special Envoy also stated that Uzbekistan's purchase of Boeing 787 aircraft was a particular source of satisfaction for the U.S. President. "This morning, he said your phone conversation took place in a very warm and sincere atmosphere," he added.

According to him, the United States will support the draft legal document strengthening cooperation between the two countries and is also ready to facilitate the expansion of trade, which is already growing rapidly.

"After today's event, our long-term partnership will reach a new level," he noted.

In conclusion, he congratulated President Mirziyoyev on the Uzbekistan national football team's qualification for the World Cup, noting that this success opened new opportunities for strengthening bilateral relations.
