Woman threw her two sons out of a window of a multi-story building and then jumped out herself In Tashkent’s Almazar district, the spokesman to the Prosecutor General's Office, Khayot Shamsutdinov said.
This occurred at approximately 2:18 PM on September 17. The 24-year-old woman first threw the boys, ages 1 and 3, out of the fourth-floor landing of the building where they lived. She then jumped from the eighth-floor entryway window.
The children survived but the mother died in the hospital.
According to the Prosecutor General's Office, a jealous quarrel between the woman and her husband may have been the cause.
A criminal case has been opened under Attempted premeditated murder charge with investigation ongoing.
