Pedestrian was fatally hit in Yangiyul district of Tashkent province in August 2025, the Millar TV program reported today. Video footage shows a GM Spark driver who was at high speed trying to evade hitting a younger boy steered to the left and hit a 21-year-old guy who was also crossing the road. As a result of the accident, the pedestrian died at the scene from the injuries he sustained.
Police opened a criminal case under Violation of traffic safety rules or operation of vehicles charge of the Criminal Code, with investigation underway.
