Following the talks in Samarkand, the President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and King of Jordan Abdullah II ibn al-Hussein signed a Joint Statement on Partnership Relations, and oversaw the exchange of the following signed accords:
- Extradition Agreement;
- Agreement on Mutual Promotion and Protection of Investments;
- Agreement on Setting of a Joint Commission;
- Agreement on Lifting of Visa Requirements;
- Agreement on Cooperation in Higher Education and Scientific Research;
- Agreement on Cooperation in Tourism;
- Protocol on Amendments to the Intergovernmental Agreement on Air Traffic;
- Protocol on the Online Exchange of Preliminary Information on the Movement of Goods and Vehicles;
- Agreement on Cooperation in Agriculture;
- Agreement on Cooperation in Plant Protection and Quarantine;
- Agreement on Cooperation in Veterinary Medicine;
- Memorandum in Standardization, Metrology and Conformity Assessment;
- Interagency Memorandums of Understanding on Religious Affairs;
- Action plan for implementation of agreements reached during the state visit of the King of Jordan.
Earlier during the talks, Uzbekistan and Jordan vowed to increase the bilateral trade by several times, launch joint industrial projects and set up an intergovernmental commission. President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and King Abdullah II of Jordan also discussed the launch of regular flights between the capitals and the introduction of a visa-free regime.
