Fire broke out at the Uch Kakhramon market on the night of August 11, the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations said.
Information about the fire was received by the Tashkent province emergency situations department at 2:22 am. Total of 10 Fire and rescue crews arrived at the scene at 2:29 am to extinguish the fire.
The fire was completely extinguished at 4:46. There were no reports of casualties.
Video footage on social networks shows that a large part of the market was damaged by the fire.
