Massive heat wave will hit the northern regions in the middle of the week, and from Friday, most of the country. As previously reported, in the last days of July and early August, daytime temperatures were well below 40 degrees. Nighttime temperatures dropped to +11 degrees in the mountains, and to +5 degrees in very high mountain areas.
The beginning of this week will also begin with relatively cool weather - this is typical for the beginning of August. However, starting from Thursday, temperatures in the north are expected to rise to +40 degrees and above. In the southern regions, maximum temperatures may reach +42 degrees.
