Janos Kovacs has been appointed a new CEO of UzAuto Motors, replacing Bo Andersson who resigned in December 2024, the company's press service said today.
A Hungarian national, Janos Kovacs graduated from the Budapest Technical University with a major in automotive engineering.
Janos Kovacs held manager positions in General Motors, Opel, GM Powertrain Uzbekistan, UzAuto Peugeot Citroën Automotive and VinFast Automotive. He had been in charge of quality management, optimization of production processes and management of automobile plants.
Since 2021, Janos Kovacs has been a member of the Supervisory Board of UzAuto Motors and is a member of the company's audit committee.
