The president Mirziyoyev signed the Sharp increase in the flow of tourists and swift expansion of the volume of tourist services Decree on May 15 introducing a 30-day tourist visa-free for the nationals of Bahrain, Kuwait and Oman from June 1, the Ministry of Justice said.
The Decree provides for increasing the foreign tourists flow to 15.8 million by the year-end, and the export of tourist services to $4 billion.
The number of domestic tourists this year could increase to 40 million. For this purpose, it is envisaged to set up 378 new travel firms.
International Tourism Week will take place annually in November.
Since June, as part of the "Travel around Uzbekistan!" program, Saturday and Sunday of the second week of each month are designated as days of travel with family and team.
