Afghanistan donated 16 trucks with white marble to Uzbekistan for the construction of the Imam Bukhari complex in Samarkand, the press service of the Surkhandarya province governor’s office said.
The President’s Envoy for Afghanistan Ismatilla Ergashev, the governor of the Surkhandarya province Ulugbek Kosimov, the Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister of Afghanistan Mullah Abdul Wasi and the governor of Balkh province Mohammad Yousuf Wafa met at the International Trade Center.
The parties discussed the ways to expand the bilateral ties, including in the trade, transport, humanitarian and cultural areas. Following the meeting, Uzbekistan received the delivery of 16 trucks with white marble from Afghanistan for the construction of the Imam Bukhari complex in Samarkand.
Recently, Uzbekistan donated quality seeds to Afghanistan.
