Today, the President Shavkat Mirziyoyev in Samarkand city received the visiting Russian foreign minister Sergey Lavrov, the presidential press service said.
Reportedly, the minister Lavrov conveyed sincere greetings and best wishes of Russian president Vladimir Putin.
The parties reportedly discussed the ways to further strengthen the Uzbek-Russian relations of friendship, comprehensive strategic partnership and alliance in the context of the implementation of agreements reached at the highest level.
They commended the active contacts and fruitful exchanges in all areas and the growing trade and investment figures and exchange views on aspects of the regional and international agenda of mutual interest.
