Today, on the sidelines of the 150th Anniversary Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union meeting, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev hosted the speaker of the Turkish Grand National Assembly Numan Kurtulmuş.
At the beginning of the meeting, Numan Kurtulmuş conveyed sincere greetings and best wishes Shavkat Mirziyoyev from the President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan .
The parties discussed the ways to deepen the Uzbek-Turkish relations of friendship and comprehensive strategic partnership.
They commended current very high level of bilateral cooperation, with the two-way trade and investment growing, the number of successful joint projects and enterprises on the rise and focused on the further development of inter-parliamentary relations, the active participation of friendship groups in the formation of a new agenda for Uzbek-Turkish partnership.
