Uzbekistan will host the anniversary assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, the largest platform for inter-parliamentary dialogue, which brings together representatives of 181 countries. Such a platform allows the world's international parliamentary diplomacy system to build dialogue, trust and jointly seek ways to solve global problems.
Reportedly, speakers of 105 parliaments from about 140 countries of the world, more than 2,000 MPs and 110 delegations from 50 international organizations are expected to attend the conference.
At the series of meetings of the assembly, which will be held under the theme "Parliamentary Movement for Social Development and Justice", parliamentary delegations from all over the world will discuss many pressing issues. At the end of the forum, the participating countries will adopt a program document - the Tashkent Declaration, reflecting a unanimous position on the main issues of international cooperation.
The 150th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union is important not only for the member states, but also for the entire system of international parliamentary diplomacy, and that such platforms provide an opportunity to build dialogue, trust, and jointly seek ways to solve global problems.
