Delegation of Kashkadarya province governor’s office visited Germany on a working trip, the office said. Reportedly, the trip was aimed at building interprovincial cooperation in education, healthcare, migration and other areas.
Important meetings were held with leading German companies as part of the visit. The negotiations focused on building cooperation in vocational education and labor migration, training young people in dual education at the enterprises of these companies, as well as hiring young graduates in areas that are in high demand in the German labor market, such as welding, electrical installation and construction.
The parties agreed to expand ties in the field of education, in particular, to erect a modern kindergarten in Karshi city and set up an Uzbek-German school.
Other topics of the talks were the exchange of experience between representatives of the healthcare sector and implement German standards to hospitals in the Kashkadarya province, develop cultural exchanges, hold German language courses and joint events.
During the trip, the delegation members visited training centers and medical clinics and got acquainted with the training process and the conditions created.
