With the support of the Uzbek embassy, officials of the Migration Agency and the Consular and Legal Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs landed in Kuwait Tuesday.
The main purpose of the visit was to hold negotiations with potential employers and recruitment companies in Kuwait and reach agreements on hiring skilled labor from Uzbekistan to Kuwait.
During the trip, the Uzbek delegation held negotiations with the leaders of major Kuwaiti companies: Kuwait Agriculture Company, Gulf Care Trade, AlJaber Group Holding, NBTC Group, Me Career, Brunel Energy Kuwait, Diversity Tech, and the Courtyard by Marriott hotel.
Apart from the hiring matters, during the talks the parties touched upon launching language and vocational training centers, holding competitions for the selection of candidates, implementing joint projects, and other matters.
Following the talks, the parties agreed to draf and sign memorandums of understanding on mutual cooperation.
