The Arnasay district criminal court of the Jizzakh province issued a verdict on February 24 against the former MP and blogger Kabul Dusov, the press service of the Supreme Court said.

According to the case, Kabul Dusov slandered and insulted four employees of Jizzakh province department of school Education/principal of school # 16 in Jizzakh city Nodira Yalgasheva, the head of the district department of preschool and school education Ozoda Kamolova, the director of school # 18 in Jizzakh, Shakhnoza Khasanova and former senator and director of the Umid boarding school Sanobar Suyarova.

The former MP published various stories about them on his Telegram channel.

The judge Sh. Ishimov found him guilty under Slander, combined with an accusation of committing a serious or especially serious crime charge and Insult in connection with the performance by victim of his/her official or civic duty.

The court considered that the defendant's guilt in committing the crime was fully proven by the testimony of the victims and witnesses, the conclusion of the forensic linguistic examination, and a screenshot of the recordings and sentenced Dusov to 1 year and 2 months of imprisonment in a penal colony.

In November last year, the Chilanzar District Criminal Court of Tashkent found Kabul Dusov guilty of insulting the Deputy Minister of school education, Farkhod Bokiev and sentenced him to 1-year house arrest.

In January, the Yashnabad district criminal court replaced the remaining 11 months and 2 days of his unserved sentence with imprisonment for the same term to be served in a penal colony, due to Dusov violating the terms of the house arrest.
