On February 5, 2025, a lecture by outstanding teachers Paata and Shalva Amonashvili on the topic "How to become a parent that children dream of. Keys to love and understanding" took place in Tashkent’s MA'NAVIYAT VA MA'RIFAT (Spirituality and Enlightenment) Center and brought together more than 500 interested parents, teachers and everyone who strives for conscious education.

The lecture became a landmark event for everyone who was looking for answers to important questions of education. Paata and Shalva Amonashvili shared deep thoughts on how to create an atmosphere of trust and love in the family, how to raise a child without suppressing his individuality, but revealing his inner potential.

Among the topics covered were such current parenting issues as gadget addiction, harmful influence from the outside, finding ways to mutual understanding and others. The experts not only outlined their theoretical views, but also gave many examples from real life, answering questions from the audience.

President of the International Center for Humane Pedagogy, Doctor of Psychology, Professor Paata Amonashvili: “Tashkent always welcomes us warmly and hospitably, we are glad to come here with Shalva Aleksandrovich and see so many familiar and new faces at our performances. Parents and teachers who visit us always raise important and very different questions on the topic of upbringing and relationships in the family. And I am grateful to all these people that they are looking for answers in humane pedagogy - pedagogy that is built on the principles of mutual respect, internal development and spiritual growth. This pedagogy lays the foundation not only for creating an atmosphere favorable for the maturation and development of a child, but also for a wonderful future, where members of society live according to the principles of the psychology of consent and act not for their own enrichment, but for the common good.”

Humanistic pedagogy is an educational approach based on the principles of love, trust and respect for the child's personality. Its founder is the outstanding teacher and scientist Shalva Aleksandrovich Amonashvili, who back in the 1950s began to develop ideas for education based on cooperation and support, rather than authoritarian methods.

The methods of humanistic pedagogy were first successfully applied in Soviet schools in the 1970s, showing that children learn better in an atmosphere of goodwill, freedom and inspiration. Over time, the ideas of humanistic pedagogy spread throughout the world, finding a response from teachers, parents and specialists in the field of child development.

Today, Shalva and Paata Amonashvili continue to develop and popularize humanistic pedagogy, conducting lectures, seminars and training programs around the world. They teach how to see a child as a unique personality, help him to reveal his abilities and educate through love, not fear. Their approach creates a generation of conscious, harmonious and happy people.

The activities are carried out in two areas: for parents and for teachers.

For teachers, there are Academies of Humane Pedagogy (http://ichp.org.ru/) and schools for students, where teachers master methods of education and teaching based on cooperation, respect and an individual approach. For parents, there is the Amonashvili Family Club (t.me/amonaclub), where participants practice daily maintaining a humane attitude, learn to understand their children more deeply and educate them through love and inspiration.
