Today, the President Shavkat Mirziyoyev hosted the deputy chief of the Russia president's administration, Maxim Oreshkin.
At the beginning of the meeting, Maxim Oreshkin conveyed the sincere greetings and best wishes from the president Vladimir Putin to the President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
The parties discussed progress of the agreements reached during the president Putin’s state visit to Uzbekistan in May last year and other high level talks as per the approved bilateral Roadmap.
They focused on the adoption of comprehensive measures to maintain the positive trend in the trade and economic cooperation, support for industrial cooperation and e-commerce projects, expansion of practical cooperation in the field of water management, higher education and training of engineering personnel, artificial intelligence, cultural exchange and sports.
