Top 10 densely populated cities and districts:
1. Namangan city - 713.4 thousand people;
2. Samarkand city - 595.8 thousand;
3. Urgut district - 572.6 thousand;
4. Andijan city - 492.4 thousand;
5. Denov district - 430.5 thousand;
6. Almazar district (Tashkent city) - 412.0 thousand;
7. Pastdargom district - 392.1 thousand;
8. Yunusabad district (Tashkent city) - 385.2 thousand;
9. Shaykhantakhur district (Tashkent city) - 369.9 thousand;
10. Asaka district - 362.1 thousand.
Reportedly, as of January 1, 2025, Uzbekistan’s permanent population stood at 37.54 million people.
