The Foreign Minister, Olim Abdullaev hosted executives of the German SBH West GmbH (Stiftung Bildung & Handwerk), an education and qualifications development company, the Ministry said.
Reportedly, the parties discussed the ways to enhance cooperation in the field of vocational education and hiring Uzbeks.
They focused on the implementation of the trilateral memorandum, which is aimed at assisting Uzbeks in seeking jobs as truck and bus drivers in Germany.
The parties also agreed to set up SBH West GmbH training centers in Uzbeks provinces. These educational institutions will offer vocational education programs tailored to the requirements of the German labor market.
The implementation of the agreements will broaden job opportinities for Uzbeks in international labor markets and will be an important step in strengthening bilateral cooperation between Uzbekistan and Germany in the field of education, migration, and skills development.
