Traffic police officer died in Navoi after being hit by car driven by male teen. The male, 16, was driving his father's Kia Sonet car without a license plate at night in Navoi city and violated traffic rules. When a police officer inspector on duty in the area tried to stop him, the teen hit the officer and fled the scene.
According to the Prosecutor General's Office’s press service, a criminal case had been opened under Violation of rules for safety of movement or use of vehicles and Leaving in danger charges of the Criminal Code, with investigation underway.
