Uzbekistan’s draft state program for 2025, which has been posted for public input, includes an item providing for expansion of Uzbekistan's strategic partnership ties with the United States. 

As per the item, the Foreign Ministry is incharge of expanding cooperation with the new US administration and organize a high-level visit before the year-end.

In addition, it includes holding the first round of the expanded high-level strategic partnership dialogue with the United States in Tashkent.

It is also planned to step up cooperation in the C5+1 format (5 Central Asian countries + the United States), including holding a ministerial meeting, meetings of relevant working groups, as well as preparations for the anniversary summit on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of this format in Samarkand.

The project provides for the expansion of inter-parliamentary ties, in particular, the organization of visits of leading members of the US Congress to Uzbekistan.

Uzbekistan will be expanding security cooperation with the United States, and also intends to continue close interaction to maintain Uzbekistan's high positions in various reports published by the US government on human rights criteria, the document says.

Furthermore, it also proposed to expand ties with the United States in the areas of education, science, healthcare, environmental protection and other areas, including partnerships between universities, English language teaching, as well as the implementation of joint projects in science and environmental protection.
