Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov held a telephone conversation with the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy/Vice-President of the European Commission Kaja Kallas.
“Had a phone conversation with H.E. Kaja Kallas, the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy / European Commission Vice-President. Covered many topics of bilateral and multilateral cooperation. Underscored the dynamic upward trajectory of partnership between our regions. Much has been achieved and even more can be accomplished. Looking forward to having the Central Asia — EU Summit this year in Samarkand”, the Minister Saidov said on his Telegram account.
The summit was scheduled for the spring of 2024 in Samarkand, but was postponed until this year. As EU Ambassador Toivo Klaar said earlier, it was scheduled for the first half of the year.
