President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev accepted the invitation of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and will pay a state visit to Uzbekistan on September 16-17, UzA said in a statement.
Thw two leaders are expected to discuss the prospects for advancing the Uzbek-Kazakh ties in the political, trade-economic, investment, transport-communication, cultural, humanitarian and other fields, and exchange views on topical regional and international issues.
A weighty package of bilateral accords aimed at fostering the friendly multi-faceted relations between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan will be signed following the talks, the statement said.
Nursultan Nazarbayev will also take part in the Uzbekistan-Kazakhstan business forum.
