President Shavkat Mirziyoyev made remarks at the BRICS Plus summit in Kazan, Russia, the presidential press service said.

"Unfortunately, nowadays the divisions are ever rapidly growing in the world. The number of wars and conflicts is growing, which bring enormous suffering, deep pain and irreparable losses to people. The fragmentation of the global economy and trade is raising the inequalities, and enhancing the technological gap and protectionism. New barriers are emerging between countries".

“In these circumstances, BRICS, acting on the basis of such principles as equality, non-alignment, taking into account interests of all parties, respect for sovereignty and the right to one's own path of development, acts as an prestigious and dynamic association of multilateral cooperation and partnership ties”.

"We are convinced that such a model of interaction can become a solid foundation for the formation of a new architecture of a more just world order while maintaining the central role of the UN".

"I support the calls to achieve a global compromise through constructive dialogue free from geopolitical rivalry, national egoism and ideological bias".
